Our community values respect and strives to embody the teachings of Islam. We expect all members to engage with one another with kindness and integrity. Uphold your taqwa both online and offline.

We find clear guidance in the Quran and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW):

"And most surely you conform (yourself) to sublime morality" (Quran 68:4)

We encourage you to maintain your taqwa in all interactions. Inappropriate behaviour may result in a permanent ban.

• Report any violations: We investigate every report thoroughly.

eRishta Behaviour Guidelines

• No nudity or sexual content: Modesty is a core principle in Islam. Members are advised against sharing any explicit or inappropriate content.
• No violence: We have a zero-tolerance policy for violence, including threats or content that promotes violence or terrorism.
• No hate speech: Content that promotes or supports racism, bigotry, or hatred based on race, ethnicity, sect, disability, marital status, body image, gender, age, or national origin is strictly prohibited.
• No spam: Repeatedly sending identical messages will result in a warning. Please ensure your messages are personalised and thoughtful.
• No impersonation: Erishta is a platform for genuine connections. Do not misrepresent yourself. Authenticity is valued.
• No promotion or solicitation: eRishta is intended for finding a partner, not for promoting or selling products.
• No prostitution or trafficking: Any activities related to illegal sexual activities, human trafficking, or exploitation will result in an immediate ban.
• No sharing financial information: Members sharing financial details such as bank accounts, PayPal, or Venmo will be banned immediately.
• No minors: Users must be at least 18 years old. Photos or videos of minors are not permitted, including those of your children.
• No harassment: Intimidating or causing distress to others is unacceptable. This includes any actions that annoy, threaten, alarm, or humiliate other members.

How to Report Misconduct on the website:

1. Visit the member's profile and find the "Member Options" section.
2. Click on the "Report" icon.
3. In the popup window, choose a reason for reporting or blocking the member from the "Select a Reason" dropdown.

How to Report Misconduct in Real Life:

Contact our 24/7 Community Support team via email or directly through the WhatsApp. Sending screenshots and detailed information will expedite the review of your report.

How We Handle Reports:

Our guidelines aim to maintain a safe environment for all members. Reports of misconduct are investigated thoroughly. We reserve the right to issue warnings or impose permanent bans on any member, including Premium subscribers.
